Carefree Wear/Backings

Our earrings come with many types of closures and backings to ensure safe wearing.

a. Snap-bar: Usually the closure for hoop earrings, the post slips through the piercing and snaps firmly into place.

b. Push-back/Screw-back: A self-contained piece where the backing requires you to gently screw the earring into place at the back of the ear.

c. Hook/Earwire: A feature of drop earring designs, hook-shaped wires slip through the piercings and hang unnoticeably behind the ear.

d. Leverback: Part of the earring design, a rounded post slips through the ear and closes securely like a lever.

e. Clip-On: This closure is attached to the earring and and gently clips shut on the ear without a post. These can be worn on pierced and non-pierced ears alike.
